ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Field Service Technician, Technical Services - DCS here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services and programing services to our customers for Distributed Control Systems (DCS). You will work closely with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform system installations and upgrades, and provide training and support. Your expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our DCS systems.

You will report directly to our Technical Services Manager, and you'll work out of our designated customer sites in various locations. This role requires a combination of on-site and remote work, depending on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide technical support and programing services for Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

•Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DCS systems

•Perform system installations, upgrades, and modifications

•Conduct training sessions for customers on DCS system operation and maintenance

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements

•Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and customer interactions

•Commitment of 18 months to obtain and maintain L3 CEAT certification while performing normal job duties.

•Traveling Role primarily in the Mid-WestYOU MUST HAVE

•1 year of professional experience in an engineering or technical field/and or Military experience in electronics programs may be considered equivalent to this typical qualification.

•Valid driver's license

•Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

•Must be able to walk and stand 8 hours per day.

•1 year of experience using Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications

•Be able to perform frequent climbing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
