Honeywell Advanced Electrical Engineer in Tempe, Arizona

As an Advanced Electrical Engineer in the Electromechanical Actuation Design team here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in the design and development of advanced electrical systems and components for actuation systems. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the design, analysis, and testing of electromechanical actuation systems. Your work will directly contribute to the development of innovative and high-performance actuation solutions for aerospace applications.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Tempe, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the development of cutting-edge actuation technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems and components for electromechanical actuation systems

• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the analysis, simulation, and testing of actuation systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery of high-quality solutions

• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements for actuation system designs

• Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and best practices for actuation systems

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations in actuation system designs

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in electromechanical actuation systems

• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, practices, and standards

• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
