We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to collaborate with the global sales and engineering teams to produce winning technical and commercial proposals for process burner combustion equipment. In this role, you will make presentations to global customers regarding the content of the proposal and the benefits of buying Callidus environmental and combustion technologies and services. You will capture the voice of the customer information and provide it to the engineering team to ensure our technical proposal meets the customer needs. You will craft detailed engineering proposals and cost estimates, ensuring that needs are met in the most cost-effective way possible. You will help drive integrated solutions sales that bring together both hardware and software products.

Challenge your talents in developing creative, cost-effective solutions to complex engineering problems

Lead internal development of comprehensive bid packages across multiple engineering disciplines

We expect you to be comfortable with up to 70% travel, including domestic, international, and overnights. We can offer you incredible career progression, as well as an attractive remuneration package.

20 Generate technical and commercial proposals for process burner applications

20 Establish cost estimates and set pricing for job opportunities

20 Negotiate terms and conditions with clients.

20 Develop turnover packages for execution to successfully complete projects

20 Work with Regional Sales Managers to review and target opportunities to pursue

You must have

  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a technical /engineering field.

We value

  • Advanced degree in an engineering or business field.
  • Some experience in working with Heater Manufacturers.
  • Product development and testing experience.
  • Experience with process burner design.
  • Influential, relationship building, and ability to educate others, and write persuasive proposals that clearly articulate a technical offering and company capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex engineering projects within a matrixed organization with multiple priorities.
  • Some experience working with an advanced customer relationship management software package.
