Honeywell Sr Field Service Technician in Tulsa, Oklahoma

The primary work is to provide resident continuing service for a Pulp and Paper Customer located in Valliant, OK.

Achieves successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. Achieve continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.

Responsibilities include:

Preventive, Corrective, and Emergency maintenance of customer's Quality and Distributive Control Systems

Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems

Perform Sensor verification and Calibration

Write Monthly Performance and Results Reports

Inspect for Quality

Install or Repair Work Orders

Provide Customer Support

Capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems

Developing new preventive maintenance for existing and new products as knowledge is acquired

Evaluating control effectiveness as knowledge is acquired

Will be verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors

Project a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations

*Will be days for primary shift. Will work evenings and weekends when on call rotation. Every 3rd week will be on call rotation.

You Must Have:

· 5 years of experience working in a field service technician position or in electronics background or technical military background · 2 - year technical degree or Certificate in Engineering and/or Instrumentation

We Value:

  • 10 years of Distributive Control System experience or Quality Control System.

  • 2 years of experience on one of the following platforms: DaVinci or Experion/MX

  • TDC and Experion/EBI experience a plus

  • Experienced in Design/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired

  • Experienced writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports

  • Experience in conducting formal meetings with customer management personal

  • Knowledgeable of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for

    basic maintenance and calibration
