Supervise a team of individual contributors who are manufacturing Honeywell's world class innovative products. You will leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented production employees. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in Honeywell Aerospace's Urbana production facility. Through collaboration with cross functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise production operators

  • Drive productivity improvements

  • Identify and escalate needs and opportunities

  • Enforce compliance with work instructions, policies, and procedures

  • Drive culture of accountability and continuous improvement

  • Employee coaching and development

  • Resource management in a dynamic environment

  • Talent management

  • Review quality output and coach team improvements

  • Collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams (maintenance, materials planning, safety, quality, etc.)

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE

  • 3-plus years of manufacturing experience

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

WE VALUE

  • Lean or Six Sigma experience

  • A proactive, driven, independent attitude

  • High self-accountability

  • 5-plus years of metal fabrication experience

  • 5-plus years of machine shop experience

  • 3-plus of supervisory experience

  • Experience with ERP software (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.)

  • Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment

  • Conveys information with clarity and directness

  • 2-year associates degree
