Honeywell Mechanical Engineer II in West Chester, Ohio

Honeywell Intelligrated is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join our growing LSS team based out of our West Chester, OH office.

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve Products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will support the design and development of new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as supporting current products modification and improvements based on in service needs and market strategy. You will support the concept, design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and final products.

Key Responsibilities

Implements mechanical projects as the Lead Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system.

Creates relationships and uses resources within and outside organization to expedite the delivery of solutions.

Participates in reviewing proposed solutions from other members of the Mods & Upgrades Engineering department.

Provides planning, reporting and management of the mechanical project, in addition to technical implementation.

The Mechanical Engineer takes full ownership of the mechanical project elements and executes (and/or delegate) individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and forecasting mechanical resources in-house and on site (may include other Mechanical Project Engineers).

Contributes to system architecture, description of operation, functional specifications, and interface documents.

The Mechanical Engineer takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, and overall mechanical architecture and manages the scope, budget (OA’s, CO’s), schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.

Participates in mechanical checkout and support installation as needed

May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.


  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or equivalent in education and experience

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
